Busy Busy Busy LOL

Good Afternoon!!

I have been busy the last few days.

I have taken & added to the gallery some more Christmas photos of the kids. Some really good photos of Daddy and them! I really love the ones of Gillian & him. I took them with the Canon 20D in Raw format. I am still trying to learn the camera. I just can't seem to get the hang of it. :P The first set of photos I took in TV mode where it set the aperture I think.. and set it pretty low. So I took some more the next day in Manual mode and set the Aperture my self to like 15 and it shows the tree a little bit better. But I think the setting are off it little bit some where else . They are in the same link as below.

I also made a few Christmas LO's of the kids with there new photos.
I really love the way these LO's turned out. I still have to work on a few more. I saved a few of the photos by the tree for separate LO. Then I have the photos with daddy for more LO's :P.

OH! It was soo cute! Gillian remembers What Santa Clause says all by her self since the tree came home :P She was sitting in her cage and she said all by her self "Santa says "Ho Ho Ho!" and laughed. I laughed with her again .. then today I asked her"Gillian, What does Santa Claus say?" She answered "Ho Ho Ho!!" LOL She has been saying HO HO HO! all day now :P Silly girl!

Only 12 more shopping days till Christmas! I think I have everything bought for Hubby and the kids.. Well we still have to go the bird store and pick up Bella a ladder.
I hope the gift I got daddy from the girls makes it before Christmas. :P

Okay time to get cleaning cages! Fun fun :P

Good evening! We got the Tree!

Well we went to HD and got the Tree! It is beautiful and smells sooooo good! I am so happy because Gillian remembers it :) She is not really scared of it at all. This is Bella's first year seeing a Christmas tree and She is not scared at all which is good. I am not surprised she is not scared though.. she is hardly scared of anything :P. Here is a photo of the tree(I took the photo at a really slow shutter speed so that it would be dark and you could see all the lights :P). Hopefully soon I will have some photos of kids next to the tree.

Good Afternoon!

Good morning!

It was quite noisy in here for a while , then the kids got some treats and it quieted down. Right now both of them are preening so I had time to do this :P
Gillian seems to be in a little devilish mood lately. I think it is that terribly two's thing. Bella is just has terrible TOO's all the time LOL! Gillian has always thought that she is in charge but lately EVERYTHING is hers and she is getting in to everything. She also doesn't want to do certain things like eat her breakfast.. She will say a millions times "Eat Your Breakfast!" But she will not do it. :P My best friend told me that hers go though phases of not eating when they are molting.. And Gillian has been losing quite a few larger feathers so I assume that is what it going on. I know she has done this before and if I think back I think she may have been molting then too.
So I think today is the big day! We are going to HD to get our tree :P I think we will get it a little taller this year. We had it cut down to a short tree last year LMAO(about 4.5 feet I think). We thought that it had to be short for the room but I think we can go another foot. I think we can get it like 5.5 feet. We will defiantly have to buy a new stand. the one we got at Canadian tire last year is truly a piece of crap. Byron had to mess with it for over an hour trying to get the tree to stand in it then finally got it and the tree was crooked LOL. Oh well no we not not to buy the cheaper one. They have a castiorn one at HD for like $45 and I think that will last forever! It is so pretty too.
We went to Metrotown mall yesterday to walk around. It was not as busy as I thought it would be. We didn't really buy anything for Christmas.. BUT I did find a Scrapbook at I think it was called HomeSence? It was new to the mall.. oh wait it was called Winners. I was so surprised to see scrapbooks there. They only had a few that where 8.5x8.5 but they had soooo many that were 12x12. They were soooo pretty too! Makes me want to print that larger :p Would have to buy a wide format printer first because it is way to expensive to print at costco or kinkos up here. Speaking of scrapbooks here are a few LO I just made the other day. I have not added them to the gallery yet. Will get around to it :P They are both new photo's of the kids.

Here are also a few photos I took of the kids this morning. The treat I was talking about that quited them down was something daddy gave them, croissant :P They love it! It is actually one of Gillian's favorites things to eat. Try not to give her too much because it is loaded with fat but that doesn't stop her from eating it :P

It's quite in here LOL

Good morning! Not a peep coming from the babies right now they are too busy munching on there avicakes :P.. nice when it is this quite :P
Well we didn't get our tree yesterday but we went to the mall yesterday and got a little Christmas shopping done.. Boy the mall and streets were busy down town! Only 17 more shopping days till Christmas and everyone is in a hurry to get those prefect gifts. Since we didn't get our tree yesterday I made this tree instead. It has Gillian and Bella on it LOL.



I told you yesterday that the toys came in for the kids. Well last night I wrapped them all and put little labels on them :P I wrapped all of them except one in tissues paper so that it is easy for them to open. The one I had to wrap in wrapping paper had a lot of big wood pieces and a big bell so it would of cut right through. One of Gillian's that is in the tissue paper is cutting right though but she doesn't really like wrapping paper so we will just have to be careful with that one. Here is a photo of what they look like. I have them all sitting in an Old Navy bag till we get the tree :P. I think the only thing we really need to pick up locally now it s ladder for Bella. She has chewed hers all up. We go to West Coast Tropical Bird. All the toys I bought online is from www.parrotdiseperch.com .

LOL Gillian is singing and dancing now :P It is really cute when she does that. I don't know why but I have not been taking any videos lately. I wish I would she does some new stuff since those last ones. I will have to try and get motivated to get that camera out and get some videos to share on the site . I know I have gotten a lot of comments on how people love to watch little miss Gilly :P

Thought I would try this out :P

Well this it my first time blogging.. so I thought I would try it out for the kids since they are what take up most of my life.
Right now I am listening to Gillian scream in her cage because she is in Time Out for chewing the Brand new molding :P LOL. She is never happy about going in to time out she feels she should aways be out of her cage and in charge because that is what daddy tells her :P

Well it is getting close to Christmas and I think we might go get our Tree today. Last year we got a Noble and we went to HD and looked at them the other day and I think we will get the same. They smell so night and are less messy then the Douglas fir. I hope Gillian remembers the Christmas tree.. LOL as I was typing right now she said Merry Christmas LOL too funny... But as I was saying I hope she remembers the tree because I don't want her to be afraid of it. This year will be Bella first Christmas at home! I keep telling her about the tree and Santa LOL :P Speaking of Santa.. The kids toys arrived today. We did not spend too much this year. Only $100 for the both of them but I think I got some good ones that each of them will really enjoy. I am going to wrap them and see if they will enjoy trying to get them open on Christmas. Gillian had fun last year but needed help. :P

Since I have not updated the gallery in a while here are some new photos of the kids. They were taken a few days ago. Gillian really loves playing with those balls She has so many of them and she just got the more JUMBO ones for Christmas since she broke her other one.
