Just another day :P

Good evening!

The Fids are in their room being nice and quite right now. I am out front because Byron is at the clinic. He works there every Monday night. This week he has had to work there 3 days in a row. I hope he doesn't catch a cold being there so many days in a row around all the sick people :P Gillan & Bella were pretty good today. Just the normal naughtiness LOL .. Gillian has been jumping over to Bella's cage when i clean it lately and she gets sooo possessive about it. So odd, it is not even her cage :P

I saw this LO today in the gallery and it had some note book paper on it. It had credit to someone so I assume it was for sale in a shop. I don't have any more money for scrap stuff this month so I thought, Hey i can do that LOL So I tried and came up with something that is SO SO but usable. I found two old note books in my dresser that I had since like maybe 1997 and tore a page each out of them and scanned it into Byron's computer. I don't have a scanner on mine anymore. Then while I was sitting up here during the day I edited them and make them look okay. The only thing is that they are Sort of transparent. When I made a LO this afternoon with one of them I had to add a little white matte behind it so that you could not see the papers from the LO. Not a real big deal being I was able to make these myself and not have to pay for them eh? Here is the LO I made. I colorized this paper to be pink. I made several colors for each size paper. I also make the staples used in the LO, I made those like a week ago. I made two different types of crossing ones and a straight one. they are just very basic. I made them in Crome & Rust. If anyone reads this blog and is at all interested in these things that I make leave a comment and if a few people comment then i would be more then happy to upload them for you guys.

Byron fw me an email today that VS was having a sale LOL so I went over there and bought some more PJ's .. I got two more sexy ones for Byron LOL and two comfy ones for me. Here is what I got. The two 'sexy' ones were only like 16.99 each. And the satin/Cotton pj's I think were like 14.99. I got two of those. I was going to get three but put one back :P I wanted to keep it under 100. Customs & taxes was 20 and shipping was 15.95.

so that adds a lot to the bill. I got the color pictured in the photo and I got the pink color in the small photo :P I thought they were both soo cute! When I was looking around Christmas when Byron bought me PJ's then I wanted those colors then too so that is why I got those one now :P

I don't know what is up with me & buying PJ's the last few days. I have bought 6 PJ's in the last few days that is so not like me! I think I am just soooooooo overly bored!!! I have not talked to anyone on messanger for like 3 days except for my bother for like 15 min .. I talked to Rischa for like 20 or 30 min before that but then for another 3 days before that I had no one to talk to again.. and then Byron has been at the clinic leaving me to sit out front.. and here I am again out front. I don't have anything else to do all night.. Can you believe I even watched daytime TV yesterday! I never watch TV during the day LOL. Oh well...Anyhow enough whining LOL

Some new freebies :)

Good evening!

I got some great freebies this weekend on SBB because I am a subscriber of the site. Hunibuni gave us $3.00 credit to her section of the store. Also Brenda Kemph gave $3.00 credit too.
Here is what I got with that credit.
Gina miller also gave $3.00 credit to her section of the store but she post it at like 5:30 pm PST and said it was only good till 12pm EST I was playing with the kids and not browse the computer because I didn't now feel to well so I did not see her post till I browsed on SBB at 10pm PST :( Boo Hoo :( I really would of liked on more poke a dot paper.. I bought a few with her sale.. I actually bought as you can see like 8 of her things :P I had all of her poke a dot papers in my cart but had to put a lot back.. Could not spend that much money LOL!
Anyhow! these goodies I got this weekend I really like got some good things for valentines and some nice B&W papers.

Dreaming about fairies :D

Hello again..
I just read something really interesting.. It has to do with a dream I had the other night. I was bored right now and remembered that 3 nights ago I had this odd dream about fairies so I thought I would look it up on MSN Dream dictionary. Well I could not believe what it said. Only because every other time I look up what my dreams mean it seems so true of stuff going on in my life at the time or just in general. This is what they said about having a dream about fairies:

Happy Chinese New Year! 01/29/06

Good morning!

Happy Chinese New Year to all that Celebrate! The year of the Dog! I have been hearing fire crackers going off down in China Town all morning and heard the drums go off around 9:30 pm yesterday across the street. I think there is a parade in China town today some time, there was last year and we went to it. I had a lot of fun watching it and taking photos I would of really loved to go this year since it is cloudy, would of gotten better shots. But Byron had to work. Oh well there is always next year.

I have not been up to any thing new.. been pretty bored. Byron worked yesterday and I had to sit out front. I talked to my little brother on messenger for a little while but I had no one else to talk to so it got really boring. I didn't bring the zip out to scrap because I didn't organize it the night before with what I would want to scrap with(didn't do that for today either) So I will just sit here and browse the net :P

I went shopping the day before yesterday on SBB for their birthday celebration. I bought $37 worth of stuff.. not bad for 19 things! LOL I will try to buy all my stuff on sale from now on LOL You get soo much more eh?!? Here is what I got. I have already used quite a few of the things. I think just the Gina miller Stuff.

I also did a little shopping yesterday.. LOL.. Not scrapping though. I went shopping at La Senza :P I got something nice to wear for Bryon on Valentines :P I guess I will show you all what I bought.. But of course I will look NOTHING like these women LMAO! This pink one I got for Valentines. I have never bought anything like this bought thought it was really pretty. I also got this one too just because it was pretty too :P I ordered from La Senza in stead VS because they are Canadian and I would not have to pay the hight duties and all those extra costs for being imported to Canada from the US. I just had to pay the GST & PST and got free shipping. Not to bad. Got both of these for $90 CAD with the tax added. They were like $39 CAD each.

I don't think I have been posting my LO in here to show you. I will just show you my two recent. I will try to be better at showing them in here :P The one on the right I made for a crop on SBB. I made it from a sketch.

Soooo frustrating! 01/27/06

Good morning,

Just a very frustrating day.. It started out yesterday.. well it has been going on for a few weeks but we tried to fix it yesterday... This all has to do with are Telus DSL. What happen was just all of a sudden one day a few weeks ago my internet would start going down like all the time during the day(MORE THEN USUAL, with telus you never know when you net is going to go down and come back up .. anyhow) At point it was going down every other min and coming back up.. VERY FRUSTRATING! Also dl speeds would be around 40kb :( So I would contact them on Ecare and they would give BS help like check for spyware and stuff like that.. oh come on.. it happen on both computers. So finally the would reboot they system on their end and it would go back to dl at around 180kb and the net would stay up. So comes the next day.. and then it starts with pages loading slow then I try to DL something and it is back to the way it was :( 30-40kb .. It even go so slow at point to be like 10-14kb when DLing. Like I said very frustrating .. So we would contact them again and they said maybe it is your router. So we went out to Futureshop yesterday and bought a , Linksys router, which cost $100 after taxes . AND THIS DID NOT FIX THE PROBLEM! I tested it out after we got it all installed and it was dl at 30-40 again :( This is just getting to the point were I can not dl the scrapbooking stuff I want and good that hubby will not let me buy stuff right now because.. WELL it would Take DAYS to Dl them :( I did want to ask if I could buy during these sales but oh well I guess not :( Sooooo anyway.. we had to get online with Telus AGAIN yesterday and they had a bunch of BS stuff to do.. He keep saying maybe your router is bad.. WTF the router is brand new we said!! What is wrong with these people! Then he had us to all these other stupid things that had nothing to do with fixing it.. with Byron and I both talking to him online we spend like 3 hours talking! 3 hours too long because they did nothing!!! :( I am so tired of Telus DSL and there worthless service. So Byron called Shaw Cable last night after we got off with Telus and talked to them but she told us that we could not get their internet.. It does not make sense as the building INSIDE of this building got Shaw Cable internet & digital photo when they moved in and they had to run their lines in the basement. They keep giving us the answer that we have two different addresses.. :( I am really frustrated with all of this.. I just want to get the Shaw Cable Internet and be done with Telus. I hope they call us back today and tell us they will be sending a technician out to hook it up because they figured out it is okay.

Sorry to go on about that just needed to vent. Nothing else new going on other then our dentist went home sick yesterday so they canceled our appointment. I guess I have to wait another week to get my night guard fixed and Byron another week to see why his tooth is sore. Hope we don't have to pay for this appointment as they have already take so much of our money already LMAO!!!

Just a new LO to show you :P

Hello!

Just wanted to show you a new LO I made right now. I made it because I applied for Traci Sims Creative team tonight. Never hurts to try eh? I have applied to quite a few now but never make the cut.. It seems like it is the same 'ol people that keep getting choose for all the teams.. guess they are the best eh? You would think they would at least pick some of the simi good people LOL All the other people must be up to there ears in stuff to do with all these teams they are on now LMBO! Anyhow here is the LO I made it is a photo of Bella back in December. She was playing on her rope boing and was peaking around the toy when I snapped the shot. I have like this photo since I have taken it but had not scrapped it yet. I am quite pleased with how this LO turned out :) I also used one of Michelle Coleman's Grunge Overlays.

We went to Costco tonight and it was so funny.. We spend $55.. The LEAST amount we have EVER spent at costco! LOL and then I paid with the Costco Amex rebate check( you have to cash there) so I got like $237 and some change back LOL so funny that is what we usually spend :P

Lets try this again :P I wrote this all up last night but got an IE error and the browser shut down on me LOL

So nothing interesting really going on in my life. Just same 'ol same 'ol.

I will have to call the dentist about that night guard though. It cuts into my bottom lip so I can not wear it. I could not sleep wearing it the second night . I guess it had harden more or something and that is why I could feel it more. I guess I should call them today :P Just not in any rush to wear it again.

Gillian is screaming her little head off right now. I told her if she is good for 10 min she can have avi cakes.. she mumbled something back to me.. and has not said anything since. .. well now she flew over to me LOL! Does that count as being good?? LOL I think I will just give her the avi cakes now to keep her busy :P

I have been pretty free with my time lately. I left.. well actually was subscribed by the manager from one of my big PSP groups. I wish I could of said good by to my friends in the group. It just kind of upsets me that this manager just subscribed me like she did when I told her what I was feeling. I had told her that I did not feel like doing the mail & challenges all that much anymore and I had a problem with all the bandwidth theath going on in the group effecting the scrapping community. I have also seen paid kits being shared and god only know how many groups these links are being shared with over & over again. It was really getting to me. I had contacted Shabby Princess a few times when I saw her kits going though groups and gave her the rapid share links but it was just becoming so much. It was like everyday there was like 5 or so kits with either direct links to sites in the email or rapid share links. Like I said I could not even image how many people these are being shared with with all the yahoo groups out there. Anyhow..... It is nice not to wake up to so much mail in the morning and have to do soooo much mail all day. LOL

I think I figured out what I am going to spend our Costco Amex rebate on.. Byron wanted to get me a 2 gb card for my 20D but we have to buy the extend warranty for the 20D anyway sometime this week or next week so I think that is what we will spend it on. It will equal around the same price. The extended warranty is $200 for two years and covers the body and first lens I bought. Which reminds me I need to take my camera in to VanCam for a cleaning there is dust on the censor :( I still have not done that .

Oh yeah! I the whole reason why I was writing last night was because I wanted to post a photo my bother Eric send me yesterday that my dad took of him, my other brother and my little sisters. The photo was taken yesterday while I was talking to him on messenger. I made a LO with it today. I used a kit from Ams digi scrap. I really love this kit and it is free!!!!! they have quite a few free kit that are all great. her papers are so nice! I can see using all the kit. I can't wait till she opens her store :P I am sure her kits will be great!!! http://amsdigiscraps.com/index.html Oh, the ribbon I used on this LO is not from that kit though, it is Jen Wilson. I thought i would use that one because it said family on it. I would not have a lot of chance to do that :P

What a day :P

Well I'm back from the dentist.. we stopped off at London drugs too.. I will tell you what hubby bought me in a min.. but I will tell you all about the dentist first.
Well I got my night guard.. it was not at all what I expected. When I asked the hygienist about it last week she said it would go on all my top teeth and be about half way up(height). So naturally I assumed she knew what she was talking about since she worked there. Well I went in today and it is TOTALLY different. It ONLY goes on my TWO FRONT teeth and fully covers them.. When I tried it out at the office I felt like a rabbit LMAO!!! Here is a photo of it. I will start wearing it today and tell you if it improves my teeth.
Also got a print out from the dentist for everything we paid in 2005 for taxes... You would not believe how much we spent there..... Almost $5000 for the year of 2005! And I remember for the year of 2004 we spend around $4000.. AND Today.. We spend $1600!!!!!!!!! That is just $10,600 three years .. with still 11 months in a year to go!! BUT lucky all of Byron's dental work is done and we will only have to get check ups from now on *CROSSING FINGERS* we will not have to ever spend money like this at the dentist every again!

So on a happier note! The reason we went to London Drugs was Byron wanted to get me some ink for my Lexmark printer.. We got there and the color ink was $55 each , black $35. I would have to get Two color to just print the LO that I have made in the last few months and one black. That is ridiculous. This printer is horrible on ink. So we talked about getting a new printer being that I have read about how many LO people get on these new printers on SBB. So Byron bought me the CANON PIXMMA iP6600D . Before tax it cost $299 here at London drugs. That was not to bad of a price. I think we paid about the same for our Lexmark when we bought it 3 years ago. We got it all installed , by that time it was like 8:50, so I only had time to print one LO to test and and I printed on STANDARD, and it prints GREAT!!!! I LOVE it so far. We will see how many LO I get out of it :P

Good afternoon! 01/19/06

Long time no type LOL

I guess I just can't think of much to say sometimes so I don't post here that often now. My life is not all that exciting LOL

Nothing to new going on. Gillian has been talking a lot lately but what else is new.. she is AWAYS talking LOL She said some really off the way things yesterday that I don't know where she learned. I am pretty sure she just put the words together and made these things up. She said, I don't love you & You smelly Girl. Pretty mean things to put together eh? Hope she never says those things again :P
Right now She is screaming her little head off.. who knows why but she keeps telling herself to be quite and to stop screaming.. then she will scream really loud. Silly girl.
Bella has been really good actually! Right now she is playing with a toy in her cage quietly. She ate all of her breakfast this morning and has been eating all of it for the last week. Gillian has been eating most/all of hers too.
The kids went to the vet last Friday. They did really good for Dr. McDonald and her assistant. Gillian though she was soooo in charge when we were in the waiting room though she was with daddy and then decided she wanted to show everyone that she could fly around a big room like that. So she took off and few around a rounded corner desk area all the way to to the other side of the room.. And it is a big room. She flew really good.. you can see why she went to the vet to get her wings clipped :P She was not even out of breath or anything must be from all that running around she doesn't at night playing with daddy .. she get's lots of exercise. Both the Fids also got there nails filed.. which they needed badly especially Bella's. Her's were like little razors :P They are so tiny that they get so sharp. For both of them to get there wings, nails, & beaks done it came to like $120, that is CAD. Not too bad. I took the Sony camera with me to the vets office to snap some photos when the fids where there so that I could made something for there website for the vets page. I ended up making a LO. I thought it turned out quite nice. I managed to cram 6 photos in the LO :P one of the photos is of the painting in the office we were in. It is of two parrots working on a cat. It was really funny. In the back there is a sign that says Night Owl Bird Hospital , that is what there vet is called.
One the way back from the vet last Friday we had to stop by Future shop to return something... so I ran in to do since it was on my Credit Card.. They were giving me a bit of a run around.. Telling me that they could not do it with the receipt that the online Future shop gave me.. so I asked if i could look on one of there computers to show them my account online to show them the purchase.. so they did.. It felt like only 15 min.. finally it was all done.. and when I got back down to the car Byron said it had been an hour and parking enforcement came by already once to ask him to move because it was past three.. it was already 3:45 when I came down.. I have such a bad sense of time.. He was very upset because I left him in the car that long with the Fid. But to me it just felt like min. I guess that is how I can sit here in this room all day and do practly nothing all day and then when 9pm comes around it only seemed like a few hours have passed . I felt like such a bad person after for doing that :(

Today got something that would cheer anyone up in the mail :P Got our AMEX Costco rebate for the year of 2005.. can you take a guess how much it was for?? Well last year it was for about $150.. This year it was for $296.72! Not too bad at all! We still have another rebate coming from costco for having the membership rebate card.. You pay $100 a year for that card then they give you money back at the end of the year. Last year we got I think it was $108 .. so just enough to pay for the membership. Maybe this year we will get more :P

Today is the day I go get my night guard...I don't really want to wear one of those at night but I don't want sensitive teeth and end up with root canals and such so I would rather wear it ya know. Byron is getting I THINK his last crown down today. they say it will take 2 1/2 hours about . I will probably that that scrapbook answers mag that I just got and the Birds USA 2006 mag too read/look thru.

I was going to post some LO I have made recently but it won't let me add them :P

:P 01/13/06

Well I just gone and did it now.. I went off and spend my next two months of scrapbooking money all on one sale LOL I am sure you all know what sale I am talking about :P Yes it was the SBB Jen Wilson sale. :P She is one of my favorite digital designers and I already owned her Worn Comfort CD, Seasonal Scraps CD, and Layers CD.. I just had to get her news CD Layers upon Layers.. It was only like $14 USD!!!! How can you go wrong there and then I got a few paper packs and mostly element packs to go with all the papers I already have.. Oh yeah and the Layers Alpha pack.. There was sooooo much more I wanted but I had to put some back because I already spend two months allowance on this sale. That means no buy and kits, elements, alpahs, doodles, etc for a whole two months!!! Oh well I am happy with all the stuff I got and they should keep me busy for the time being! I got like 37 things for $66 I think that is great! And that includes that Cd that that is extra great!!! LOL

01/12/06--just another day :P

Good evening!

Just another day.. Went to the dentist for our yearly cleaning & xrays. Also got this really weird xray don't that I am not to sure why. I think because I said because my jaw hurts at times and he wanted to find out if I had arthritis in there or if it had something to do with my teeth. It was a pretty neat Xray.. I think they just got it because well it looked brand new LOL and the chest protector(the lead vest) had that strong plastic smell like it was just taken out of the wrapper :P you know how those pool toys smell when you first take them out of the wrapper and blow them up LOL I always thought those smelled so good :P Anyhow the Dentist said I need a night mouth guard too because he thinks I either grind or clench my teeth at night because of the them hurting / being sensitive to hot & cold where they filled them in '04(they have hurt since they did it and I went in once to ask about it but the other dentist said nothing was wrong but this dentist is doing something about it). He said if I leave it then it will ultimately lead to having root canals or crowns where I am having the pain! So I opted for the night guard :P

Gillian is actually quite right now.. It is nice!!!!!!! Right when we got home from the dentist and dinner I cleaned there cages, gave them baths , washed there bowels and feed them. I was soo tired after. LOL It was nice to sit down.


Here is a LO I made yesterday. They are some photos of a flower I took in Stanley park back in July of Last year. I think they LO turned out okay.. I am not to sure about the brush work. I make the brush the biggest it would go in PSP, 500, and it was tiny on a 12x12 lo so I had to stretch it A LOT! I wish PSP had the same size brushes as PS.. that would be nice! I have soo many brushes in PSP that I would like to use for LO but they are sooo tiny.. sucks.

Oh yeah, I got this email in a scrapbook group I am in today. It is an AD group. I thought it is was pretty interesting but I don't think I will enter.. I don't think my LO's are good enough. It is for a contest where you keep making LO each week and the last one standing wins something.. I think it is like gift certificates to stores or something. Seems pretty neat. If I thought I could stand a chance I would enter LOL. I just know i don't have a chance when I see all the other talent out in the gallery's. OMG! i almost forgot.. Byron told me today that he was working and cleaning this disgusting!!! dirty!!! room in the hotel that someone moved out of and there were roaches in it! He said this person was a PIG!!! His life insurance agent came by for their appointment at 11am and he was still cleaning it.. so she said well I will just sit where you are working so I don't interrupt what you are doing.. He said OK... So she was sitting there talking to him and he said he saw a roach crawling up her leg.. .. I said Did you tell her??!!?? He said "No, Then she would of freaked out." I was like .. OMGoodness!!!!! and could not stop laughing.. Then asking him, "If there was a bug on me would you tell me??" Byron said " Yes " LOL I still can't get over how he let that roach craw up her leg. That is just gross!!! LOL I just can't get over that, he didn't want her to freak out :P Of course she would freak out .. its a cockroach crawling up her leg! :P

So a little good news.. 01/11/06

So a little good news, I was looking up my meds today on the net and saw that one of them you can take if you are trying to become pregnant or are pregnant.. that is the Wellbutrin. It did not cause any birth defects in animals while they were pregnant. You can not take the Topamax though.. that is classified Class C or something like that in the Food & Drug down in the US and is known to cause birth defects in animals. And the Risperidal I would not take anyways because that is the one that increases my prolactin(sp?) levels and causes me to not even become pregnant in the first place LOL I think I will go in to see my dr that takes care of my psych meds next Monday and ask her what she thinks.

Nothing going on other then screaming matches.. I think both of the fids are reaching sexual maturity or something because it is non stop screaming & disobedience. I have asked Gillian to quite down soooooo many times today I lost count :P She is playing in her cage now.. she seems to be more relaxed in there. She was eating peanut she found in her bowl and is quietly talking & playing with her toys. When she comes out it is another story. She screams at the top of her lungs non stop and gets Bella going. Like I said I think it is sexual maturity, at least for Gillian.. Bella may just be mimicking.

More & More depressing.. :(

Here is what it said about a Private adoption's:

Here is what it said about a Public adoption:

As for the placement, a lot of that will depend on you. I guess if we every passed all there tests we could look in to getting a little bit of an older child.. but I really would like a baby.. *sigh* Just depressing :(

Switching back over to this blog today! 01/10/06

Good afternoon! Someone PM'ed me on SBB today a post on digichick on how to customize the logo at the top of blogger.. so here I am! posting on this blog again. I just didn't want to spend $9 out of my $30 allowance on a blog.. It just did not seem right. I wanted to spend it on kits and stuff. I lost all those previous post.. but that's okay :)

So anyhow, it feels like it has been forever since I have written in my blog.. Like almost a week.. looks like longer on here LOL. I have just been thinking about a lot and have not felt like writing. I have not scrapped for a few days either.
I did dl this freebie today from Michelle Raine's blog though, http://raine.typepad.com/ . I thought it was really cute so I thought I would share the think here so maybe if anyone reads could go see it. I also just found her blog today and saw her great kits! I will defiantly be buying some of her stuff in the future. I love her new valentine kit and that girly kit she has on her blog.. oh boy what do I do looking at all these great kits on a $30 budget :P

Gillian has been doing a few new things lately.. she has been 'burping' all the time! I think she gets it from her daddy :P She burps every time she sees him and she burps after she eats.. It is hilarious! When I burp it is really quite and I always say excuse me.. but Byron usually burps really loud after he drinks soda and that is what it sounds like Gillian is mimicking LOL Silly girl. She has also been being a bit naught and has been jumping on my head alllllll the time. I keep telling her NO NO and she keeps doing it. I don't know how to get her to stop. She used to do this when we first got her then just all of a sudden she stopped but now she started up again. It really does get annoying fast.. and it hurt.. it leaves little scratches on my head. She also tries to pulls out huge clumps of hair out of my head and in the shower i have so much hair fall out. Lucky I have thick hair.
Bella has been pretty calm lately KNOCK ON WOOD! She has been giving Byron kisses for about a week now. Pretty soon she will be a Daddy's girl like Gillian.. He always seems to turn them that way :P

I have been a bit depressed lately about what I have been thinking about that is why I did not feel like writing. I have still been thinking about having a baby. I had a hard time talking to Byron about it because, well I just have a hard time talking period... Yesterday I thought I would try to do a day without my meds to see if I could do it and I could not. I had to take my AM meds at 9PM because I was feeling anxious, paranoid, kind of out of it and some more things I can't describe.. They were my Bipolar meds. I don't think we will ever be able to have a child now naturally so I was really depressed last night and cried a bit.. Byron and I talked a little bit and he mentioned adoption. But I thought about it and I doubt .. but hope.. they would adopt to us not living in a home. I have been meaning to look up some adoption agencies here in Vancouver this morning but have not gotten around to it. I will probably do that today or tomorrow to see what is out there. I mean I don't think we have much of an option. I just get so depressed thinking about how I can't go off my meds but I really want a baby.. It just is not fair. :(
