A little scrapping.. A little shopping :)

Good evening! Byron let me do a little scrap shopping today :P I bought Jen wilsons Spring CD and almost all of her new Glitter kitchen :) I love it all! What beautiful papers in the CD! But of course coming from Jen wilson :P All of her stuff is always GREAT! I made. I made two new LO's with my new stuff. They are in my SBB Gallery if you want to take a look :)

Gillian smooching :P I really LOVE this photo too! It is just a great shot of them! The kit I used was from the Hunibuni & Ash Olson CD at SBB. The flower was a freebie I got. This Third LO is of Gillan taken the other day when she was on her boing but I used it to journal in something that happen today that Gillian said to me, I should of put the date on the LO.. I keep forgetting to do that :P. She asked me if I liked that smell, then laughed when I told her I didn't smell

anything.. such a silly little girl :D The kit is by Lauren Grier. This last Lo is a kit by Lauren Grier also.. it is a photo of Gillian preening and when she does this something she gets feathers stuck on her beak and then she looks up.. it is so funny! It always makes me laugh!

Here are two LO I made today using her Jones kit. What a cute kit is it. I love the colors and the elements in it. I will probably make some more LO with it anothe day.
The photos of Gillian were taken today.. She was on her boing(rope toy that hang inbeween the two rooms. Both of the kids love this toy, especially when daddy swings them one it. They don't really like when I swing them on it.. for some reason only when daddy does LOL!

I absoutly, can't say enough LOVEEEEE the stitching in this kit! I have a thing for stitching lately, well for a little while.. and it seems like I want to stitch everything. At least I try to stitch everything LOL!

Here are some more new LO I have make I don't think i can really post all of them there are sooo many.. A pretty exciting them.. I reached my 100th!!!! Lo yesterday for 2006! I was pretty excited. My 100th LO was this one of the gift that Byron surprised me with yesterday for our anniversary. I didn't really expect anythem

becuase he let me buy the 3 cd's of the Mr. Retro filters and I said that would be an anniversary gift.. I guess he went out while I was scrapping.. and when he came back I asked him why he was wearing his nice jeans not his work pants.. and he stumbled over his words and walked out of the room.. I just kept scraping and didn't think about.. then he came back into the room and said , Do you want to go for a smoke before I have to go back to work? I said OK and I went into the bed room to get the smokes and saw the little bag on the bed :D It was like I said a big suprise and Oh how I love it!

Here is a LO using Lori Barnhurst Natural Chick kit and then Jeanelle Paiges Stitch from her stitching pack. I really love the way this LO turned out.. The kit was so perfect for this photo. I think anything pink is perfect for Bella LOL!!! I really love the Doodle/word art saying ALL NATURAL with the flower.. Just too cute!

Bird talk... The fids are molting AGAIN!! it seems like they molt year round here becuase I keep the heater at like 75-80 F. Then they have a few bad times durring the year it is worse and this is one of those times for gillian She is just in a crappy mood.. lunging, biting, screaming, ect more then usual and there is nothing we can do to help her . I hope her molting is over soon so that she feels better soon :(

Just another day :D 03/14/06

Good afternoon!

There was something funny that happen the other day that I forgot to write about.. I am reminded about it everytime I try to use my ARROW keys. I went to get the kids bowls, so when I got Bella's I must of left her little food door open.. well I did not notice then I went to the kitchen to wash the bowels and I came back and saw Bella sitting by the keyboard for the computer pulling off all the keys! I have heard about other peoples birds doing it but I never though one of ours would LOL! Well I got her way from the keyboard and had byron come and help me put them back on... He put the arrow key on upside down and they feel really odd to use :P LOL I guess bella really likes the key board becuase about a week before that when I

forgot to close her door again she was down by the keyboard typing away. lol I really ne

ed to remember to close her little door eh? After that day she gets really agressive with her food doors and trys to open them when she wants to come out LOL Silly girl!

So I made a few LO for the new CT I am on, Lori Barnhurst of scrapsydaisy.com. The first kit I choose was the Colorful Childhood. It really is a GREAT kit! I love everything about it! I have

made 3 LO with it. These first two are using All from the kit except the first one is using a flower from Amy Martin. This next LO is using the same kit but with a few things from her Crop kit Password to be given out on March 22nd, 2pm or 9pm EST. I also did another LO with everything used from the Kit.(above it is the Blue one, The kit is called Blue Meadow)

I really love that LO I made yesterday with Jeanelle's kit. I had fun playing with the Machine wash filers. I really love what is does so far. I have not played with it all that much though. I would like to play with it some more today if i have some time. I have to do my cleaning in a bit. Then Later Byron & I are going out to celebrate our 5th anniversary, we will not be able to celebrate really anniversary becuase his boss is going out of town and we will have to stay in. Funny as it is, his boss is going to Vegas where we got married LOL

More exciting news!

I got some more exciting news! I got accepted to another CT, this is my be my Second! I am so excited :D
It is Lori Barnhurst of http://scrapsydaisy.com . She really does make beautiful stuff. I am going to be working on my first LO with some stuff from her store tonight out front while Byron is at the clinic :D
Some more exciting news... I got my Mister Retro Machine Wash Filters in the mail today!!! I orders 1, 2, & 3 and so far am loving what I have done with them! They are pretty easy to use and do such cool effects! :D It was funny I thought it was about time they came in the mail today.. so I heard the mail woman come.. and I ran and byron was busy with a TON of mail.. it seems like politic junk mail for the tenents or something.. so I went back and sat on my computer for a few min's then went back.. and ask him if I got my filters.. he said What filters?? I said.. You know the machine wash ones and he gave me a blank look .. I guess I looked really dispointed and then he pulled them out from under the desk! I could just feel my face light up LOL! I was pretty happy to get them I have wanted them for a long time LOL! :P

Here is a LO I made today with Jeanelle Paige's Reto Dude Kit. I used the machine wash filters, & atomic cupcake actions for it also.

The fids are doing great! Gillian is doing something new that Daddy taught her, It is to sing Bella's name LOL! It is just singing Bella over and over and over again. It is really cute :P Gillian seems to be in a WAY better mood today then

yesterday. She seems to of slept on the wrong side of the perch the night before.LMBO because she was in such a crabby mood. Today she seems pretty happy.

Byron & I have been pretty sick.. Byron with Bronchitis & fluid in his lungs and me with a cold and

ear infections :( I feel like I am getting sicker though, I might have fluid in my lungs to.. It seems like this is a nasty cold going around this year. I hope to be done with cold season soon!!! At least it isn't Strep throat like I got last year :P I had a 110 F temp with that .. crazy!

Also wanted to share some new LO. I have made quite a few. Mostly using the two kits I have gotten from Jeanelle Paige, Doodle Girl & Tantalizing Teal Kits..
There are also some more new LO in MY SBB GALLERY, I can't post them all here...

Some new LO's to share

Good afternoon!!So I got started on my first kit from Jeanelle. I picked her Doodle Girl Kit from her 3Scrapateers store. I really love this kit and I picked it because it was perfect for a photo I have been wanting to scrap for a week now. It is a photo of my coffee mug that I took for a Challenge at SBB. I think the photo turned out really

nice and I love that the kit has a doodle of a coffee mug in it :D
I also did 4 more LO with the kids using this kit. Well actually 5, I re-did one of the LO because I was not too happy with the first take but I will only post the 2nd take here :) This second one is my favorite out of all the LO I did with the Kit I think. I really love the black bg with the pinks. I used Nik's filter for the photo effects. Love the effect it gave.

This 3rd one is of Bella eating avi cakes .. The girls FAVORITE !!! treat ! LOL! They will do anything for that stuff :P I used Atomic cupcake inked edge on that lo.

Okay I have two favorites! LOL I love this one of Gillian too LOL! I love all the little squares of this polka-a-dot paper on a pink paper. It is a great photo too. It was just taken yesterday right before I scrapped it.. She was bathing on top of her cage when I snapped it. She jumped back in her water after I took the photo.. then I was about to take another photo of her.. and she jumped/flew at

me! And got the lens and camera all wet.. Leave it to the kids to do something like that eh LOL. Here is the last LO, This is the one I did over. It was a little busy before, I just made it more simple .. I like it better now. Again all elements & papers used are from Jeanelle Paige's Doodle Girl kit only other thing used are Atomic Cupcake Actions.

My first Creative team!!!

Good morning!!

I have to tell you I am sooo excited!!! I got an email this morning from Jeanelle Paige telling me and 5 other woman that we were picked to be on her CT! How excited I was that I had to go tell Byron.. LOL!! ( he know that I apply to the creative teams so that is why I had to run and tell him that I finally got accepted to one LOL) I am so happy to finally be on a team and be on one that I love her stuff!! Jeanelle even has this kit that I have always wanted but never knew where to get after I accidently deleted the email.. it is a kit that has a little bird in it that is pink.. it is sooooo cute! :D Can't wait to get started working with her kits!

On another not, I have to say I am so sorry for not writing here, I don't think I have many

people that read this , but I know I have on loyal reader that said she misses it :(

Here is a LO I made yesterday while up on Byron's computer, I installed CS2 up here and put all my actions, brushes, a few filters, and presets on there too..
It is a LO with photos of my 25th Birthday cake taken Last year.. Byron was so sweet he had a parrot drawn on the top of the cake and he even got me the cake that I wanted, a DQ cake :P I kept seeing those commercials advertising for Mothers days cakes and they just looked sooooo good that I just had to have one! LOL! The paper & ribbons are Jen Wilson , grunge overlay is Michelle Coleman, & the frame brush is Nancie Rowe. I also used a grunge brush I dl off the net to distress the bg paper. I don't know how many time I say this.. but it is soo true, I LOVE PSCS2! LMBO! I can't get over how much I love it :P and I have not even learned that much about it yet :P

And both of the Fids are doing GREAT!!! Gillian's new thing to say is , "He Shoots! He Scores!!" Byron taught it to her when they watch Hockey games together.. Believe it or not she actually watches the hockey games & hockey highlights on the news.. it is funny because we used to have a sugar glider, Kailya that used to go in with Byron and watch Hockey too.. Funny :P
