Oh yeah, I made a Lo the other day One of gillian with Amy teets new kit.. It is of Gillian how she is almost three but going on 13 :P when a parrot is around here age they are like a human teenager till they are around 8-10 years old so we have some rough years ahead of us LOLOLOL. Yummy!

Good evening!

Yummy is my title becuase... have you tired the new frapachaino at Starbucks? the banana coconut one. It is so Yummy! :D I am drinking one right now :D

Anyhow I came to tell you all that I have added a few new things to my shop.. no new kits, just a few small things becasue I am still sick as can be. I can't knock this cold. I am going to go see the dr tomorrow and see what he can do.
One of the new things added today is this element pack , Tape it on. It is 9 tapes in total. 3 different types of tapes-3 tapes in each kind.
I also added some metal elements.

The last thing added today is a Commercial License agreement. It entitles whoever buys it to make crafts & scrapbook Lo's using MY products that you purchase for profit.
It does not entitle you to use my products for making scrapbook kits for profit.

They are both $4.97 till the 1st of July.

Not much going on here other then.. I got my screen on Friday and I LOVE IT! But you kno what?? This dell 24" monitor is also a little warm too! but not burning up like the acer was. I called dell and asked them about it and they said all their monitors get warm.. that is odd being my other LCD never got warm ..humm.... I dunno. So I just shut this one off when I leave the room.

I guess there is a little more news.. Byron sold one of our properties that he had on the market.. The asking price was $179,000 for a 1 bedroom and he sold for $169,000 . We did not want to seel that cheap but we noticed that other people were dropping their prices in that area to sell quicker.. and the other places that were 100 sq feet bigger were $175,00-179,000.. they were $190,00-$210,000 weeks earlier. .. so we said OK to $169,000. We thought we would be making that extra $10,000 so that byron could get another place but I guess not anymore. :(

And a little more news.. I am so sick! :( I don't know if this has anything to do with the coughing & wheezing problems I was having for the last weeks.. but now I am coughing & congested really bad . I feel sooo sick! I bought some Robussum DM and took that yesterday becuase I know on Welbutrin that is all I can take over the counter.. well I think it interatcted with the Naproxin and I had a really bad side effect. I had a similar side effect with Robussum cold and flu about a month ago but thought the DM would be better since that is what I always take. So I called a Drug store and they said I could get a RX cough suppresant and that would probably be fine but I could not get to the dr today .. and probably cant go till tuesday when Byrons boss comes in. Some times I really hate being on all these RX's and how everything interacts with them :( It is horrible I can't even take a cold medicine from the drug store when I am sick.
Anyhow I guess that is enough of my whining eh LOL

Just a LO...

Good afternoon!

I'm getting pretty excited about my new monitor :D I called costco.ca and they said it might be here today. I got the keyboard & mouse ,that came with it on tuesday.. so I am anxiously waiting for it :D LOL I hope to get it today or tomorrow. Byrons boss wants to see it to see if he wants to buy it too also.. so another reason to get it in the next two days because the sale of $150 off ends Sunday. I told him though that if he doesn't like it he doesn't lose anything.. Shipping is FREE and he can take back to costco warehouse doesn't have to ship back.
I am also pretty excited about July 1st arrival.. GST goes down 1% and that is when Byron said he will buy my new computer :D
It will be a 3.4 GHZ Dual Processor Pentium( Our computer guy said this dual processer is 1/3 faster then a regular chip.. and mine is 3.0 now.. and I alread thing mine is pretty fast... so I think this one will be super fast!!) with top of the line graphic card, 2-250 GB HD(one new with the computer and one from my existing computer) & 4 GB RAM(but our computer guy says xp only regonizes 3.2 or 3.4 gb or ram but installing 2 pins of 2 gb runs faster then installing just 3 pins of 1 gb .. maybe some day their will be a patch for that anyhow.. I think i will have this computer a while.. I think I will be super fast!!!) :D I just get so excited about stuff like this :D

Anyhow! LOL I wanted to show you a new LO that I made with one of my new kits, My little princess. I have not made a LO in a while so this was a treat. I would like to make a Lo with my other new kit also I just didn't get around to it.
Again, this kit will be availabe at 2BScrapped on June 24th.

Good Evening!!

Good evening!!

Feels like it has been forever since I have posted.. I think it has been a week eh. I have two new kits to show you tonight
The first new kit is named Girly Girl. It has some Fleece accents/fleece alpha in it and 17 pattern papers/7 solids.
The second kit is called My little Princess. It has 20 pattern papers/6 solds. It has has some metal accents and a metal alpha. It also has 8 clean/8 distressed stamps.
These kits will be availabe at www.2bscrapped.com on Sat. June 24th for the INTRO price of $4.97 . After a week they go back up to $5.99.

So I got a new monitor on Friday.. I ended up getting the Acer one at cotoco and but the darn thing was burning up and it was getting so hot that it was making my screen flash black! After ONLY 3 1/2 hours of having the thing on I had to turn it off to let if cool off so that I could use it again. So Byron took it back to costco on Saturday and called me from there and said the display model is hot but not as hot as yours was do you want to exchage and try it out? I said NO! I said we will just get the Dell 24" on the Costco site that we were looking at. So when he got home I ordered that one. When he was at costco I searched google for, 24" monitors or something like that ... and it came up with great reviews and comments on forums for the dell but NOTHING about the Acer! I can see why now!

:( Poor bella got beat up by Gillian yesterday. Well not really but Gillian pulled up a little skin on bellas foot and she favored it for about 1 hour and was really mellow and wanted to be pampered and stuff. I got to cuddle her and pet her like I used to be able to, anyhow she is okay now.. but how it happen was I went to heat up some abba for them for lunch and left gillian out like I always do.. when I came back gillian was over on Bellas bars and I can't remember where bella was in here cage I just remember going over there fast to get her off. When I went to get bella out to feed her.. she didn't want to eat and was favoring her foot. I saw the cut .. no blood.. and called the vet. The said she would be fine to just leave it alone. She seems fine today back to her rowdy self :P

Fun in the Sun..

Here is a Kit I finished last night that will be available at 2BScrapped tomorrow. It was inspired by one of my CT members, Tara telling me about her beach trip with the kids and then seeing a photo of it in a LO.
Miriam got a very talented lady Amy to do the designers ad's here at 2B so I can't wait to see what she comes up with for this kit. She sends the ad to like a million ad groups LOL. I am sure her ad will be far better then what I could ever do LOL :D

World Parrot Refuge

Good morning!

I just wanted to share a link to a parrot refuge here in BC on Vancouver Island. I have been wanting to go vist it since it opened but have not yet.

I think I would really like to make a kit to raise money for them. My parrots are like my children.. and designers always make kits to raise money for children charites.. but really this one would mean soo much to me since my babies are the world to me and I would like to be able to help them like this.
Just something I have been thinking about...

In the Garden :P

Hello!

Here is that kit that kit that I used the papers from yesterday.. I finally finished it today. I started it on Sunday .. I just had been dragging my feet big time LOL! It has 21 Pattern distressed papers and 9 solid textured papers.

I also really like the alpha and think it can be used for many thing so I will be selling that seperate Also, IT will still come in the kit :D It is a Distressed stamp alpha that comes in PNG's and also had an ARB file.


Today byron & I went out to Pacific Center to walk around.. we walked around the mall twice.. and in side Safeway once LOL that mall is kind of small :P It is really expensive trendy shops to. Clothing that I would never wear but it is sooo pretty! You know I did buy something once at that mall... A Burrberry overcoat that that .. I always wanted on and they had it on sale and had one in my size it was regurlay $1500 and it was marked down to $1000 + tax.. so byron bought it for me.. this was like almost 4 years ago. And you know what? That coat is still in original plastic with original tags on it! I never wanted to wear it because it was too expensive! I always think about selling it since it does not even fit me anymore but byron says no we will never get out money back anyhow.. but you know I don't even thing they make those coats anymore they make really short ones. It is a size 10 and navy blue.. maybe one of you are interested :P
Anyhow I was going to say we went to this chinese restaurnt right outside of the mall and it was so fancy AND REALLY EXPENSIVE! LOL! but the tea was really good :P I think I will get some of that tea from Chinatown.. byron said it is Jasmime tea.

i better get going.. the girls need to get to bed.

Byron and I got to go out yesterday and today. I think we might get to go out a little be more for the next month becuase he used some of his vacation time for the month of June at the Clinic and took the whole month off. He has not been feeling to well that is one of the reasons why so hopfully the month off from there will help.
We went to Stanley park yesterday.. lucky we went yesterday becuase boy was today hot! yesterday was just mild. I got some photos of some flowers and a bee buzzing around a flower. I am embarrased to saw that I have forgotten how to take photos with out my EX Flash so a little bit of the flowers are bright. I am going to write My dr and ask her if she can help me out a little bit with this this becuase she has taken courses on photography. But other then the little bit of the bright flower.. aren't those cool photos?!?! LOL i think so at least :P Just had to share :P
I also have a Lo to share that I made tonight for the ad inspritation challenge on 2BScrapped with Sarah. I used the papers of a kit I am working on right now called In the Garden. I should be finished with it soon.. I am just dragging my feet with it LOL! I also used my own Distressed Alpha.
If you have not seen it yet I have a challenge going on on 2BScrapped also. It is a font challenge. I will be giving out a paper pack this month. Here is the paper paper.. Come check out the font it's a pretty easy challenge you just make a LO with that font. :D

New kit

Good evening!

I feel so horrible for Miriam at 2bscrapped. Right after the Grand opening they started having server issues.. then the store was having major issues :( Right now at this time they are trying to resolve them all and it should be all taken care of in a few days as they are switching servers. I remember when SBB did that and then after their site ran GREAT so I am praying the same will be for 2B. Keep your fingers crossed!!

I posted a sale on a bunch of sites including PD4 on Friday for a sale of 25% off of everything in my shop at 2B BUT I have to send an email right after that the sale would have to wait as the shop was having Issues .. SO I will be having a sale again probably next weekend or the weekend after. I will probably have a few more kits by then to :P

Speaking of new kits, Here is one I finished today. It was inspired by days at the beach as a child and we used to stop by the market and pick up Pistachios to take there(we used to also pick up Grapes, stuff for sandwiches, and of course capri suns :P) . I was inspired to do this kit at this time becuase I was talking to one of my CT members who lives were I grew up and we were talking about that the other day.
Here is also a LO I made with it today. The photo is a photo I took of myself I think it was last early last week. It was pretty chilly that day that I could wear a turtle neck! The weather is so unpredicable here :P


OHHH yeah! I don't think I have written in here about the Girls little behavior change lately.. But they have just been nippy, lunging, testy, just all out bad attitude! Gillian really has been acting like a TEENAGER! So I was talking to Vicki at the Parrot store we go to and she said , That a 3 year old parrot does act like a teenager and they will act like that till they are about 6-8 years old. She says she has parrots that are around 15 years old that have mellowed out soo much. And about the whole nipping, lunging, ect lately.. she said that is caused by too much light. Being they need a Fully 12 hours in a darker room becuase being in brightness envokes hormones. Crazy eh! That much be why birds breed in the spring! LOL! So Byron & I went to Canadain Tire right after we left the parrot shop and bought a 3 way lamp , that has the dim, med, and bight.. And I keep the blinds shut all day and turn on the bight sprecturm light for most of the day then later on turn down the light with the lamp. You should see how much the Girls calm down. But Vicki said it takes them really 6 weeks for their hormones to fully adjust. I am just so happy to learn this information becuase I was going absoutly nuts here with all this attitude LOL!
