Introducing baby Andrew!!

Just wanted to introduce baby Andrew :) born on Jan.20th weighing 7lbs 15.5oz and 22 in in length.
We could not be any more happier.. he really is our little blessing and I can't stop staring at him. I know every mom says this, but he really is the most beautiful baby I have ever seen :D Looks a lot like his daddy.

Here is my birth story.. and nothing like how I imagined things turning out to say the least..
On the 20th I had been having mild contractions through out the day..
So I took advise from the books, we went walking around grocery store and Costco and got some shopping done.
Got home and felt fine.. started putting groceries away and felt a sharp stabbing pain and then felt a little wet. I thought maybe it was my water or something so just finished off groceries and then went to the restroom to check and the pad I was wearing was filled with blood and when I stood up so was the toilet. I called the hospital and they said to come in.
I had to wait about 15 mins for dh to get home(I had to call him to return home. He had just left to go see the dr as he was not feeling well)
We got to the hospital I think around 4:30ish or so and they took me in to the assessment room .. had me change into a gown and they wanted to look at pad..
they then did some test, not really sure what it was.. everything was happening so fast but it was to try and see inside to see if they could see where the bleeding was coming from(sort of like a pap but they had to keep using these cloths the move clots and blood out of the way(and that hurt!! when they did that) They they did a ultrasound and tested the blood that was taking out from down there. The dr came back in and told me that part of my placenta had come off the wall and that was causing the bleeding.. she did not want to check my cervix because she thought it was low(even though the last u/s said it was fine) so she put me on med to induce labor(forget name.. like I said everything was happening so quickly) So they moved me to a room and stared the IV. the nurse starter med at 2.0 and then slowly moved to 3.0 then 4.0 and the contraction were coming more and more but still just mild.. and all of a sudden I felt a really big gush again and again thought my water broke but when nurse checked there was sooo much blood. She called dr, she could not come because she was in OR but said to stop the med and see what happens. I got up and went to the restroom at this time also and there was a really big clot in the toilet and also just full of blood..
After the IV was stopped the contraction were less and less and even more mild.. dr got out of OR said to try the med one more time so the nurse did .. starting slow again.. then dr actually came to room and nurse showed her the pad with all the blood and told her about the clot and blood in toilet and she came over and talked to dh and me.. saying that she was really uncomfortable with seeing that amount of blood and was not going to be taking it lightly. She said she really felt c-section was my only option .. she felt that if she let me keep trying to labor and the way it was going(not strong, and I could not take the med to help along) that I could bleed out. So I was wheeled to OR right then and baby Andrew was delivered about 10 mins later. He was born @ 10:24pm on the 20th .. weighing 7lbs 15.5 oz and 22in in length. Dh and I totally feel in love when we saw him. I LOVED the look on dh face and how excited he was.. it was like he because an instant dad.. I mean he did, but now I got to see the love and excitement he felt.
Andrew is has been doing good, he is a good eater.. and poops and pees good also. He is already over that black tar poop!!
I have been breast feeding in hospital but am finding it REALLY hard only because it hurts so bad. I had soo many nursers go over it and over it with me and I really think he is latching on right but I'm not sure why I am feeling so much pain. I do have the pump here and I would like to try using that.. but for now he is mostly being fed formula(I feel like such a failure.. but when I was only bfing he would scream and scream for more but nothing would come out) At least now he is getting full and that makes us all happy.
I'm sure I'm leaving lots out..

Hey!
Everything is going good with the pregnancy! I did have a bit of a scare on July 3rd.. I started bleeding a lot.. so dh took me to the ER. We got to see baby on u/s there at the hospital.. he/she was moving all around :D My OB had me go get an ultrasound when I was 12wks to make sure baby was okay and everything appeared to be just fine. Baby was moving all around again and I got to hear their heart beat(158 bpm) Just so amazing!
Here is a LO i did with one of the ultrasound pictures. I have an appt next week for a NT Scan, so will get another peak at the baby :D

Long time no post eh!

Just a little update on me.. I am now 9wk4d along. Everything going good!
Bella has been taking the pregnancy not soo well :( I hope she snaps out of it and goes back to being my sweet little baby girl.
I actually bought my first maternity clothing yesterday! Had fun looking though everything and got some really cute stuff.. Here is one of the shirt I got.. And believe it or not.. it was only $12! I got 7 shirts and this was the most expensive.. all the rest were either $5.99 or $9.99. Nice to catch a clearance eh!!

I have adding one more pk of LR presets to my shop. This pk contains 20 presets. They are very clean looking effects, No vignetting used like a lot of my other presets. I really love the vignetting but wanted some presets with out it so I made some :)
They are 30% off like the other presets in my shop.

I have one more set of LR presets that I have been working on add to my shop. When I was having people test them out one told me that photographers are looking for 'something different' so that is what I tried to do in this pk. Like the other two pk's they can be used for commercial use.

You can use them on photos in LO's or just in photos. They can be used commercially so photographers welcome to apply. I would just ask that you post the LO's and/or photos to at least two places(other then my site)..giving proper credit of course.. and use them at least 1x a week.

Wow! I can't believe how long it has been since I blogged!

I just wanted to post an update to my shop.

I have not really added anything new in the last year till yesterday... I did not add kits, but instead added some Adobe Lightroom presets I made. I am so excited about these! They really do look great on a variety of photos..

I have 2pk's of 18 that are $10.50 each until January 26th. After that they go up to $15.00

I don't know if you have seen this yet but if you have not it is worth looking at.

It is a charity for a designer on DSS that had everything destroyed in a flood.
They are raffling off 10, yes TEN $50 gift certificates to Jen Wilson Designs! And also 1-$100 gift certificate to their store at DSS.

Here is the text straight from DSS

"We at DSS have come together to help a fellow designer that sells here at DSS in a time of
great need. Michelle Conrad’s House was devastated by a flood late last month just before
Thanksgiving. The flood destroyed everything on first floor of house, furniture, bedrooms
walls, computer and wiring are just some of the loses they have experienced!

We have come together and are donating certain items and gift certificates to the Conrad
Charity fund. The Holidays are drawing near and they have 7 children to feed ,clothe
and try to make the holiday something special after dealing with this devastation.

Morning!
I am such a bad blogger I know!

I hope everyone is having a great holiday season! I just love the holidays :D Such a fun time of year.
Gillian for the last three years.. this year no exception.. spends all December saying "Merry Christmas" & "Ho Ho Ho" . Last year and the year before though she would say, "Santa Claus says, Ho Ho Ho" I guess she is just getting lazy LOLOL.
I made a LO of gillian saying Ho ho ho in a little talk bubble. I think it looks really cute :P If I remember I will come back here and post to my blog when I am back on my computer later this afternoon.

I took some photos of gillian and bella by the christmas tree the other day and thought I would share if anyone comes here anymore LOL.

Today is the 18th, and I have set the day to quit smoking for the 21st.
I ordered a book from amazon that someone suggested to me. It should be here in tomorrow or the next day. I paid for faster shipping.
I am excited and scared to quit smoking.. I have smoked since I was 17 years old and have always used it as a back fall for other things. But not at this time in my life I am just outright ADDICTED! And I am ready to Quit!
I have lost almost 30 pounds on La Weight loss.. and still have about 60 pounds more to loss so one thing I am scared about quiting smoking is the possibility of gaining weight or staying at the same weight. I am hoping since I am eating right and I think I have pretty good motivation to say on my eating plan( I have not cheated once! the whole time I have been doing LAWL) that I will continue to lose weight.
I will talk to my Dr today to see if it is OK for me to use the Nicorette patch, which I am pretty sure it is I ask my other dr about it a few years ago and she said it was fine. I also want to ask if he will allow me to increase my Wellbutrin to 300mg a day instead of the 150mg I am on now to aid in the cravings. I will be picking up the patch at costco today when we go :)
DH Byron tells me he wants to quick for a while now.. for his own reasons one being Life insurance.. It is pretty expensive being a 40 year old smoker and his policy is only for I think 125K I think he can get a policy for 500K for the same price if he quits smoking. He tells me he does not need the patch or any help at all that he can do it cold turkey.. mind over matter he says..He doesn't smoke 3/4 a pack like me so maybe he can. At the most during the day he smokes like 5 or 6. But he still NEEDS them I think. So we well see . I think the book will help him.

I have joined A LOT of other DST girls in a little game/challenge.. it is called the Biggest loser Digi Style. It officially starts on Monday. It should be fun :D

Sorry again for not posting in so long.. I am the worst blogger!!!
I have not really been designing too much lately becuase when fall rolls around I get down when we lose sunlight. It always messes up my medication.

My weight loss is going good. I go in for my weigh-in tomorrow at La Weightloss. I have now been going there 12 weeks and have lost 25 pounds!

I made this Lo today to record my weightloss. I used some of Jen Wilsons stuff I bought durring her sale a few days ago.. Could not pass up a good sale :P Also the LO above it is a Lo I made last week, I used a paper by Amy teets.

I also made this LO of Bella yesterday. Again I used a kit by Jen wilson. Just LOVVVEEEE her stuff. I have almost everything she has made to date LOL I wish there was more time in the day so I could use it all LOL The LO is of my Sweet Bella... That is how I greet her every morning when I wake her up.. I also greet gillian by saying Good morning Sunshine :P So they both get special greeting :D

I hope I will be feeling better soon so that I can get back to designing. I think I might ask my dr to increase my wellbutrin.. I think that might help.. till then.. I have more time to take photos and scrap when I feel up to it :P

Log time no post!

Wow it has been a long time since I have posted!

I guess there is a lot new going on here. I ordered the girls new toys and they came in the mail to day .. I set up both their cages with these toys and Bells just loves them!!! Gillian is scared of her new toys but nothing new there. She is always scared of new things. right now Bella is playing with this ball that is filled with chili pepper. She just loves chili's so I thought I would get her a few of those and she loves them.

I'm doing pretty good with the weightloss. I have lost 18 pounds since I started LAWL. I am very happy with that. Only like 70 odd pounds to lose now to reach my goal :P I have credit for LAWL to get some of their snacks, like breakfast bars. They count as 1 starch and 1 fruit. I am thinking of getting some at my next weigh in to try something different for breakfast. .. I am toally addicted to the scale.. and weigh myself everyday.. which is become descouraging for the last few days. I have not lost anything so I thought a change would be good :P I usually eat oatmeal, cream of wheat, or all bran in the morning with a fruit.. so all I would get is the bar, but that is not bad like once or twice a week becuase I drink a ton of water to fill me up LOL!

I joined the game at TDC in their Healty chick forum. It seems like a lot of fun. I think it will keep me modivated :D One of the ladies is making a spreadsheet to use which will make it a lot easier. I have not added up my days yet becuase I am waiting for the spreadsheet. If you have not seen the game you can go to TDC and it is in the Healty Chick forum.

I will be putting all my items at The Daily Scrap in the BARGIN BASEMENT on the Saturday the 23rd. Kits will be $2.00 all other items will be $1.50. I have just add two new kits, 3 date stamps, & some corner swirls last week.. I am also going to try and add a few more kits this week that I don't already have at TDS.

I had my weigh in on friday.. I am down 1.6 pounds!! :D I am almost to 10 pounds.. I am at 9.6 lost .. I think I have lost those every few oz to be at 10 pounds but my scale is not very good so I can't really tell :P I bought a new scale on Cosco.ca and it should be here next week I think :D

Good afternoon!

Like an idiot I forgot my own TOU in the sampler I posted yesterday LOL. I was just doing sooo much as one it just totally slipped my mind.
I can't belive it already exceed it's dl limit.. gald so many people were able to dl it. Hope you all like the sampe of the kit Fun in the Sun. It is one of my favorites kits. I guess that is why I used it for my website :D

What is up with my scale. I bought it becuase it says "150 years of accuracy!" But yesterday I weight my self mid day and it tells me a weight.. then I weight myself at night and it tells me I am over 2 pounds less. I just weighted myself right now and it tells me I am 2oz less then the weight it told me yesterday afternoon. What time am I supposted to weigh myself?? LOL I go in to LAWL at around 3-4 pm on friday afternoon to get weighed so I guess maybe I should weigh myself at that time each day. I just am scale happy :P and egar to loose weigh so am always on the thing LOL! I just don't know what to believe when I read it.

Gillian Gillian Gillian... She is still in her maturity stage and we are having quite a bit of issues with her recently. She thinks she is in charge and everything is hers.. especially Bellas cage. I really hope this stage passes sooner then later, it is so hard to deal with a teenage parrot LOL! I have scars all over my hands and arms from her.. and some days bruses up and down from her biting.. it looks sooo bad. I don't know what people must think if they notice. The things we go through as parrot parrents :P Bella is in her terrible 2's right now and is a bit roudy but not too bad.. she learned how to tip over her water bowl and has done it two days in a row now. We might have to get those screw in bowls for her if she keeps on doing it.

Good afternoon!

As you can see i am having another CT call. I would like to add a few more gals to my team :D With being a new designer and just opening a new shop I could use more promoting :D
I have already had quite a few very talented scrappers apply .. Keep 'em comin'! LOL!

My debut at SBE was yesterday! How excited was I :P LOL! My new kit is call, A new day. I started the kit on the first day of my new lifestyle(La weightloss). I know I have not been keeping you updated here on the blog but I am doing great! I am loving what I get to eat, love the LA lites, and love the results :D I have lost 4.4 pounds and I am in week 2 right now.

Ever since I start scrapping my best friend & I have always dreamed of designing & owning a shop and today is the day!

I'm so happy to finally be able to announce that DigiGirlsDesigns is now OPEN!!

At this time this is a personal shop for just my, Candice Wong, designs. But I hope to soon be joined by my very talened, creative friend.

So I guess I should tell you how my first day of my new way of eating is going eh :D It is pretty good. I am not hungry it is plendy of food, just a lot of planing ahead and a lof of time making the food. I am so used to not eating breaking or lunch just snaking so it is very different. As for the Vit's I don't mind the I think they are mulit vit's or the calicum but I took the marina oil ones at bed time and they made me throw up a min after taking them. I called the LA weight loss center this morning and asked if this is normal when you start.. she said no but I should try to only take 2 and see if that helps if not then stop taking then and they will switch them off for different ones so I don't lose money on them.
It's so funny, Gillian & bella are really enjoying having breakfast when me. Like this morning I had eggs, cheese, toast, & pears. They ate everything with me LOL
My coffee is definally different now.. I can't only have 1 sweetener in it and like 1 tsp of lite coffee mate or skim milk. It really does not taste that good at all LOL I guess I will get used to this all :D

Some Big News

Good Evening!

I have some Big News this evening.. I have resigned from 2BScrapped and will be opening my own Personal Scrap Site. It is just a site to sell my own designs and a friends when she gets into designing :D We have always talked about have a site together ever since we started scrapping. She actually came up with the name of it :D
I have no official date for the opening but I am trying for the 1st of august. :D I'm pretty excited and trying to get a few new kits open for the done for the Grand Opening.
The site also has a PhotoPost Gallery where anyone can post LO's made with My designs.

I am also looking for a new full service scrap shop to join as a designer with non exclusive benifits.. If you have on in mind let me know :D

Some more Big news! I Joined LA Weightloss on Friday! I am very excited about this. i have seen there ad's in the newspaper for a long time now and have wanted to join for as long as I have been seing them.
I get all my info tomorrow and go in for first visit with weigh in on Friday. :)
I was thinking of posting in the DigiChick weightloss forum.. but I feel kind of embarassed. I did not know what to say. Maybe I will will think of something :)

Good morning!

Long time no post, sorry about that.

I have a few new items in the shop. One of them are some frames. They are sort of these grungy type of frames . They come in packes of 7- 5x7 both black & white png frames + arb file to each pack. I have 3 packs plus I have an all in one pack which includes all three packs. the single packs are $3 each. The all in one is $7.50.

I also have two new kits out. One is called I'm seeing Stars and the other is called Garden Party. I think I'm seeing stars is a total Boy kit LOL and Garden party could go either way it has greens , blue, pink , & white. But not everything has pink in it.

OHHH Guess what!?! I got my new computer last week :D I just love it! I miss my Hugware stuff though I told my self I was not going to install all that stuff becuase how much it slows down the computer. I really loved the mouse cursors. Good evening!

Yummy is my title becuase... have you tired the new frapachaino at Starbucks? the banana coconut one. It is so Yummy! :D I am drinking one right now :D

Anyhow I came to tell you all that I have added a few new things to my shop.. no new kits, just a few small things becasue I am still sick as can be. I can't knock this cold. I am going to go see the dr tomorrow and see what he can do.
One of the new things added today is this element pack , Tape it on. It is 9 tapes in total. 3 different types of tapes-3 tapes in each kind.
I also added some metal elements.

The last thing added today is a Commercial License agreement. It entitles whoever buys it to make crafts & scrapbook Lo's using MY products that you purchase for profit.
It does not entitle you to use my products for making scrapbook kits for profit.

Intro price on new kits

They are both $4.97 till the 1st of July.

Not much going on here other then.. I got my screen on Friday and I LOVE IT! But you kno what?? This dell 24" monitor is also a little warm too! but not burning up like the acer was. I called dell and asked them about it and they said all their monitors get warm.. that is odd being my other LCD never got warm ..humm.... I dunno. So I just shut this one off when I leave the room.

I guess there is a little more news.. Byron sold one of our properties that he had on the market.. The asking price was $179,000 for a 1 bedroom and he sold for $169,000 . We did not want to seel that cheap but we noticed that other people were dropping their prices in that area to sell quicker.. and the other places that were 100 sq feet bigger were $175,00-179,000.. they were $190,00-$210,000 weeks earlier. .. so we said OK to $169,000. We thought we would be making that extra $10,000 so that byron could get another place but I guess not anymore. :(

And a little more news.. I am so sick! :( I don't know if this has anything to do with the coughing & wheezing problems I was having for the last weeks.. but now I am coughing & congested really bad . I feel sooo sick! I bought some Robussum DM and took that yesterday becuase I know on Welbutrin that is all I can take over the counter.. well I think it interatcted with the Naproxin and I had a really bad side effect. I had a similar side effect with Robussum cold and flu about a month ago but thought the DM would be better since that is what I always take. So I called a Drug store and they said I could get a RX cough suppresant and that would probably be fine but I could not get to the dr today .. and probably cant go till tuesday when Byrons boss comes in. Some times I really hate being on all these RX's and how everything interacts with them :( It is horrible I can't even take a cold medicine from the drug store when I am sick.
Anyhow I guess that is enough of my whining eh LOL

Just a LO...

Good afternoon!

I'm getting pretty excited about my new monitor :D I called costco.ca and they said it might be here today. I got the keyboard & mouse ,that came with it on tuesday.. so I am anxiously waiting for it :D LOL I hope to get it today or tomorrow. Byrons boss wants to see it to see if he wants to buy it too also.. so another reason to get it in the next two days because the sale of $150 off ends Sunday. I told him though that if he doesn't like it he doesn't lose anything.. Shipping is FREE and he can take back to costco warehouse doesn't have to ship back.
I am also pretty excited about July 1st arrival.. GST goes down 1% and that is when Byron said he will buy my new computer :D
It will be a 3.4 GHZ Dual Processor Pentium( Our computer guy said this dual processer is 1/3 faster then a regular chip.. and mine is 3.0 now.. and I alread thing mine is pretty fast... so I think this one will be super fast!!) with top of the line graphic card, 2-250 GB HD(one new with the computer and one from my existing computer) & 4 GB RAM(but our computer guy says xp only regonizes 3.2 or 3.4 gb or ram but installing 2 pins of 2 gb runs faster then installing just 3 pins of 1 gb .. maybe some day their will be a patch for that anyhow.. I think i will have this computer a while.. I think I will be super fast!!!) :D I just get so excited about stuff like this :D

Anyhow! LOL I wanted to show you a new LO that I made with one of my new kits, My little princess. I have not made a LO in a while so this was a treat. I would like to make a Lo with my other new kit also I just didn't get around to it.
Again, this kit will be availabe at 2BScrapped on June 24th.

Good Evening!!

Good evening!!

Feels like it has been forever since I have posted.. I think it has been a week eh. I have two new kits to show you tonight
The first new kit is named Girly Girl. It has some Fleece accents/fleece alpha in it and 17 pattern papers/7 solids.
The second kit is called My little Princess. It has 20 pattern papers/6 solds. It has has some metal accents and a metal alpha. It also has 8 clean/8 distressed stamps.
These kits will be availabe at www.2bscrapped.com on Sat. June 24th for the INTRO price of $4.97 . After a week they go back up to $5.99.

So I got a new monitor on Friday.. I ended up getting the Acer one at cotoco and but the darn thing was burning up and it was getting so hot that it was making my screen flash black! After ONLY 3 1/2 hours of having the thing on I had to turn it off to let if cool off so that I could use it again. So Byron took it back to costco on Saturday and called me from there and said the display model is hot but not as hot as yours was do you want to exchage and try it out? I said NO! I said we will just get the Dell 24" on the Costco site that we were looking at. So when he got home I ordered that one. When he was at costco I searched google for, 24" monitors or something like that ... and it came up with great reviews and comments on forums for the dell but NOTHING about the Acer! I can see why now!

:( Poor bella got beat up by Gillian yesterday. Well not really but Gillian pulled up a little skin on bellas foot and she favored it for about 1 hour and was really mellow and wanted to be pampered and stuff. I got to cuddle her and pet her like I used to be able to, anyhow she is okay now.. but how it happen was I went to heat up some abba for them for lunch and left gillian out like I always do.. when I came back gillian was over on Bellas bars and I can't remember where bella was in here cage I just remember going over there fast to get her off. When I went to get bella out to feed her.. she didn't want to eat and was favoring her foot. I saw the cut .. no blood.. and called the vet. The said she would be fine to just leave it alone. She seems fine today back to her rowdy self :P

Fun in the Sun..

Here is a Kit I finished last night that will be available at 2BScrapped tomorrow. It was inspired by one of my CT members, Tara telling me about her beach trip with the kids and then seeing a photo of it in a LO.
Miriam got a very talented lady Amy to do the designers ad's here at 2B so I can't wait to see what she comes up with for this kit. She sends the ad to like a million ad groups LOL. I am sure her ad will be far better then what I could ever do LOL :D

World Parrot Refuge

Good morning!

I just wanted to share a link to a parrot refuge here in BC on Vancouver Island. I have been wanting to go vist it since it opened but have not yet.

I think I would really like to make a kit to raise money for them. My parrots are like my children.. and designers always make kits to raise money for children charites.. but really this one would mean soo much to me since my babies are the world to me and I would like to be able to help them like this.

In the Garden :P

Hello!

Here is that kit that kit that I used the papers from yesterday.. I finally finished it today. I started it on Sunday .. I just had been dragging my feet big time LOL! It has 21 Pattern distressed papers and 9 solid textured papers.

I also really like the alpha and think it can be used for many thing so I will be selling that seperate Also, IT will still come in the kit :D It is a Distressed stamp alpha that comes in PNG's and also had an ARB file.

Today byron & I went out to Pacific Center to walk around.. we walked around the mall twice.. and in side Safeway once LOL that mall is kind of small :P It is really expensive trendy shops to. Clothing that I would never wear but it is sooo pretty! You know I did buy something once at that mall... A Burrberry overcoat that that .. I always wanted on and they had it on sale and had one in my size it was regurlay $1500 and it was marked down to $1000 + tax.. so byron bought it for me.. this was like almost 4 years ago. And you know what? That coat is still in original plastic with original tags on it! I never wanted to wear it because it was too expensive! I always think about selling it since it does not even fit me anymore but byron says no we will never get out money back anyhow.. but you know I don't even thing they make those coats anymore they make really short ones. It is a size 10 and navy blue.. maybe one of you are interested :P
Anyhow I was going to say we went to this chinese restaurnt right outside of the mall and it was so fancy AND REALLY EXPENSIVE! LOL! but the tea was really good :P I think I will get some of that tea from Chinatown.. byron said it is Jasmime tea.

i better get going.. the girls need to get to bed.

Good evening!

Byron and I got to go out yesterday and today. I think we might get to go out a little be more for the next month becuase he used some of his vacation time for the month of June at the Clinic and took the whole month off. He has not been feeling to well that is one of the reasons why so hopfully the month off from there will help.
We went to Stanley park yesterday.. lucky we went yesterday becuase boy was today hot! yesterday was just mild. I got some photos of some flowers and a bee buzzing around a flower. I am embarrased to saw that I have forgotten how to take photos with out my EX Flash so a little bit of the flowers are bright. I am going to write My dr and ask her if she can help me out a little bit with this this becuase she has taken courses on photography. But other then the little bit of the bright flower.. aren't those cool photos?!?! LOL i think so at least :P Just had to share :P
I also have a Lo to share that I made tonight for the ad inspritation challenge on 2BScrapped with Sarah. I used the papers of a kit I am working on right now called In the Garden. I should be finished with it soon.. I am just dragging my feet with it LOL! I also used my own Distressed Alpha.
If you have not seen it yet I have a challenge going on on 2BScrapped also. It is a font challenge. I will be giving out a paper pack this month. Here is the paper paper.. Come check out the font it's a pretty easy challenge you just make a LO with that font. :D

Good evening!

I feel so horrible for Miriam at 2bscrapped. Right after the Grand opening they started having server issues.. then the store was having major issues :( Right now at this time they are trying to resolve them all and it should be all taken care of in a few days as they are switching servers. I remember when SBB did that and then after their site ran GREAT so I am praying the same will be for 2B. Keep your fingers crossed!!

I posted a sale on a bunch of sites including PD4 on Friday for a sale of 25% off of everything in my shop at 2B BUT I have to send an email right after that the sale would have to wait as the shop was having Issues .. SO I will be having a sale again probably next weekend or the weekend after. I will probably have a few more kits by then to :P

Speaking of new kits, Here is one I finished today. It was inspired by days at the beach as a child and we used to stop by the market and pick up Pistachios to take there(we used to also pick up Grapes, stuff for sandwiches, and of course capri suns :P) . I was inspired to do this kit at this time becuase I was talking to one of my CT members who lives were I grew up and we were talking about that the other day.
Here is also a LO I made with it today. The photo is a photo I took of myself I think it was last early last week. It was pretty chilly that day that I could wear a turtle neck! The weather is so unpredicable here :P

OHHH yeah! I don't think I have written in here about the Girls little behavior change lately.. But they have just been nippy, lunging, testy, just all out bad attitude! Gillian really has been acting like a TEENAGER! So I was talking to Vicki at the Parrot store we go to and she said , That a 3 year old parrot does act like a teenager and they will act like that till they are about 6-8 years old. She says she has parrots that are around 15 years old that have mellowed out soo much. And about the whole nipping, lunging, ect lately.. she said that is caused by too much light. Being they need a Fully 12 hours in a darker room becuase being in brightness envokes hormones. Crazy eh! That much be why birds breed in the spring! LOL! So Byron & I went to Canadain Tire right after we left the parrot shop and bought a 3 way lamp , that has the dim, med, and bight.. And I keep the blinds shut all day and turn on the bight sprecturm light for most of the day then later on turn down the light with the lamp. You should see how much the Girls calm down. But Vicki said it takes them really 6 weeks for their hormones to fully adjust. I am just so happy to learn this information becuase I was going absoutly nuts here with all this attitude LOL!

Good afternoon!

Only one more day! LOL! I am excited and nervious at the same time about the opening of the Store :P If you have not checked out www.2bscrapped.com yet you should :D

Here is a kit I finished today, it is called Slumber Party.
There are 14 Distressed patterned papers and 7 textured solids.

Here is a LO I did with the Isabella Kit. I would like to do another one of Bella I had the photo picked out and everything but got to doing something else and then forgot... I wish I didn't get so sidetracked sometimes.. or so busy with some stuff and had more time to scrap like I used to. But I guess that is just the way it is now. I keep telling myself that I will scrap at night while Byron is playing with the girls but never do. Maybe I will scrap with this new kit tonight. I think I have a few new photos on the camera and on the computer that need scrapping.

It is so funny today.. I think Gillian knows her Birthday is coming up Because allll days she has been saying, "Cake".. & "I want some Cake" LOL! She has not had cake since Bella's birthday, a few months ago and we don't buy or eat it so it is not a regular word around here. So i had a talk with here about how she is a month early asking for Cake that her Birthday is in July and how she only gets Cake on Bella's & her Birthday.. and she just sat there and listened the whole time.. She is such a smart little girl :P

I'm going to change the song on my blog.. I will probably change it back to cascada. Not sure though. Will look around on the video site and see what they have.

A new kit..

Good afternoon!

Feels like forever since I finished a new kit LOL.. well really it has not but I just have been busy so it has been a little bit. Here is a kit I finished today. It is called, Isabella. It is inspried by my little girl Isabella(bella as most of you know her.. I never really call her by her full name :P) I really love the way it turned out with her beautiful colors :D

I also just want to thank all that applied to my CT. I got quite a few applications and I could not accect everyone even though I with I could. I accepted while I was getting applications and I still have a few to look through but I will write you all back soon.

I made three LO with my newest kit today. One of Bella and two of Gillian. One of the one of Gillian is of the photo that gave me my inspiration for the kit, her and her bunny :D Doesn't she look so cute there with her little bunny mirror!?! Oh how she loved that little toy. She has long forgotten it buy now but she really did love it for a long time :D She is just like a kid and goes through phases where she has favorites toys & foods. This second LO of Gillian is a few photos taken of her when she was playing in the bed the other day. She had total BED HEAD! LOL! It was too cute I just had to take some photos :P

Nevermind about uploading the 2 other Lo's .. Blogger is not working good right now.. and is not uploading photos. I will upload them later if Blogger wants to work right.

I finished the kit I had been working on late last night. had to go to bed so I did not post it. I named the kit, "Gilly's Raggedy Old Bunny" I think I already told you all that though :P

It has 15 pattern papper & 8 solids.
The alpha , arrow, and corner tabs, one ribbon, and tags are all black leather that has been stitched.

Hope you all had a great day. It was a nice day here in Vancouver. The temp cooled down quite a bit and the weather was nice :D

Byron & I did a little bit of cleaning today but he said he is going to Canadian Tire tomorrow to get some large tubs so that we could put stuff we don't use in them.

I also got a little bit of a new kit started that I made a swatch for yesterday. It is called "Gilly's Raggedy Old Bunny" I was inspired by Gillian old Bunny mirrow that she chewed the ears all up LOL. I will scrap a photo of her hold it when I get done. Here are what the pattern paper look like. Maybe I can work on it some more tomorrow after we are done with our 'spring cleaning'

Good morning!

Gillian is being quite the little brat this monring LOL.. she keeps biting for no reason at all and keeps jumping on my head .. So she is in time out in her cage. But I guess it is a good thing she is finally eating her breakfast. She was to busy bugging momma that she did not want to eat this morning LOL.

I wanted to show you a LO I made late last night of Bella with the Spring Breeze kit. It is a photo taken yesterday.

I wanted to get out and take some photos in Stanley park today but I really need to get to the mall and buy product for my hair and probably get it cut while I am there. Probably nicer in an air conditioned mall anyhow :P LOL And Besides I would like to go look for some more flowers there too at a few shops since they are 'in season' this time of year LOL.

Ohhh.. So byron wakes me up this morning and says .. Mastercard send you a new card and it says your old one was compermised..So I ask him to go check it and he does and says everthing seems fine. So later on I call them and they told me that Somewhere I used the card another people that also used their mastercard, thier # was taken & used from that place. So everyone that used a mastercard their got a replacement card in the mail .. I'm pretty impressed with how on top of thing they are eh! I would of hated to see down the road charges on my card that were not mine.
One more thing before I go.. So I have picked a few CT member so far in my call. One of my members name is Marlie and here is a a LO she made today with the my kit Spring Breeze.

Soo I did end up changing the lens in another room and snapped some shots of the girls today :D I will post a few of my favorites here.

I took about 20 photos of them so have lots of scrapping material. I used to take like that much everday for a while there LOL I should really get back in to takeing there photo more. I guess I go through phases where I feel like taking TONS of photos and where I feel like taking a break from the camera. To day when I was shooting I was like getting sooooo hot and started sweating a little becuase it is so freakin' hot today! LOLOL I thought I heard them say that it was 31C on the radio yesterday they must of been talking about in the interior or something becuase today they said yesterday was only 23C and today is 25/26C . Byron was supposted to take me to Starbucks for a Frappichano but I think it is getting to late now.. he works at the clinic at 4:30
Speaking of Byron, He went to an AGM (a yearly meeting where all the owners get together and discuss things) for one of the appartments we own. And , I did not really know he want to, but he got voted on to Council. I have been feeling that He has been spending what little free time working on stuff for this place ever since he bought it now he will be really have to be dealing with it :( I am happy he is doing something that he likes really I am.. I just hate feeling like I come second to an appartment building. Sorry, just venting... and I guess just feeling sorry for myself. What little time I would spend with byron at night before he spends doing other things for this appartment.

And here is the last photo.. Maybe I will scrap tonight... Maybe with my new kit :P

Somebody asked in the comments if Bella is a Galah, the answer is yes she is :) I have to take some new photos of the kids. I have just been really hesitant about changing the lens.. don't want to get any dust in it :P I will probaly change it in another room far away from here and snap some photos of them today :D

I just ran a CT call in PD4 so I will bump up my call one more time..

Summer is here!!!!

.....And boy did it hit hard! It is like 31C today! It is sooooooooooooooo hot! LOL! This is the real first day of summer here in Vancouver and that is kind of funny becuase I finished a summer kit that I started a few days ago. I named it something.. then ended up doing something different with the kit and ended up naming it , "Summertime Fun" . It will be availabe at www.2bscrapped.com on June 1st .

And here is a LO I made with it after I finished. It is some photos of bella taken last summer playing on the boing :P

Okay I finished the LO :D(hours ago.. just waiting for blogger to work :P) I used my own Coco Puff kit and Distressed Arrow stamps. The photo is of Gillian with a little feather on her head. This usually happens when she is preening and I always wonder if she knows it is there LOL every now and then I will snap a few photos of her with that little feather ontop of her head because it looks so silly :P But I usally just help her out and take it off for her right away :)

Here is something new that I made today. They are 6 distressed arrows that come in PNG's and a ARB file. I really love them and already started a LO usingone of them but had to stop to sit out front becuase byron had to go make photo copies of something :P Can't wait to get back to my LO. I am also using my Coco Puff kit to make that LO.
OHHH byron is back! I can get back to my LO now LOL!

Good morning!

Just gave the kids some avi cakes so it is nice and quite in here :D Gillian was bugging and bugging me for some LOL I told her she could have a snack later .. I guess one min was later for her :P Silly girl.

I wanted to show you all a LO I made last night while the girls were playing with daddy. I can never seems to find much time to scrap lately so it was nice to find some time last night.. maybe I can scrap every night around that time. :D I used my own Pretty in Pink kit. The photo of Bella was taken the other day when I got the camera back from the shop. I was using the 100mm lens and with bella it is soooo hard to gets shots of her with that lens! She is constanly moving LOL but this one was not bad. I also got some good photos of gillian that I would like to scrap.

Also before I go, I made a preview of everything I have made except a few alphas so that people interested in the CT don't have to search the blog. You can see the full size version HERE

If you read my blog you have read me mention www.z95.com before. Welll it was soo crazy this last week.. they have this thing called Z(they pronounce Z -Zeed up here in Canada LOL) anyhow Z effects. And they start their jackpot off at 500$ and you get to listen to a noise and try to guess it if you are the 9th caller. Well for like 2 weeks no one guessed it and the jackpot got up to 27,000$.. crazy eh!!!???!! someone finally guessed it the other day and it was ... A Man shaving LOL .. someone just guessed the new one and that one was worth $3,500 and that was a hole puncher. :P

Ohh one more thing :P

Good evening!

Well........ I think the spot is gone! :D I was happy when I looked at the photos that and took and did not see a spot on them :P So no trip for my camera!! :D

I just wanted to show you all some gerbers I finished today. There is a dark & soft set. I was looking at them, and really at this time I don't t hink they really match any of my kits LOL But I am sure they match lots of things :P I will probably use that big purple flower with just some plain with paper. I love that purple flower the best :P And probaby a date stamp or something :D I really need to scrap but I started a new kit and I want to finish that LOL!! I guess that is why I want a CT so they can help promote my produts since I am not scrapping as much as I used to..

Date Stamps

Hello!
Hope you all are having a great Wednesday! It is nice and sunny here today, 14C, but I think it is supposted to rain on Friday.. Not looking forward to Saturday though , it is supposted to be 25C!!! Summer is already here eh! :P

I finally got around to making those date stamps. I made a set in clean and a set in distressed. They will be sold seperate. They come in both BLACK PNG's & an ARB file(made in CS2). They come with 12 stamps, in all months. Then the date stamps from 1-31 & stamps of years from 2000 to 2010.
They will be available at www.2bscrapped.com when the store opens on June 1st :D

Wellllll I picked up my camera and took a few test shots but have yet to upload them to see if the spot is there.. I just remembered that I have to do that :P I will probably be doing that when I am done with this entry. When I picked it up they said they did another cleaning but did not see anything and if the spot is still there then I will have to send it to Canon in Calgary with probably my 100mm lense to see what it is.. I HOPE THE SPOT IS GONE!

something I finished today

Here is something I made today. They are some basic border templates. I saved in PNG's (BLACK) and also converted them to a Photoshop custom shape so that you can play around them with in all different sizes. I just love customs shapes , they are so fun to work with :P

Well I called the place where my camera is being fixed.. where they fixed it.. then messed it up :(.. anyhow.. they said they think they got the spot off but if it is still there I will have to send it to Canon. Just isn't fair. That spot was not there when I took it in.. only something that would happen to me eh. oh well . I hope it is gone so I don't have to deal with them any more. I will definally be learning how to clean my own sensors from now on!

Flowers galore!

Hope you all are having a great day!

I received flowers from both my parents & DH. But I could not keep the flowers from my parents even thought they were sooo pretty. They were lillies and I am allergic to them. I break out in hives when I am around them to long. Not very fun :P They were beautiful though.. they were yellow and smelled so nice. Byron got me some equally beautiful flowers, they are red roses. They are sitting in a vase on the table. They smell sooo good too!!!

Today is...

Well today is my 26th Birthday :D Nothing special planned, in fact I have to sit out front all afternoon I think and then evening while byron goes to the clinic. But I think we get to go the restuarant of my choice tomorrow :D Every year I pick the same one, Las Margaritas LOL I LOVE LOVE LOVE their food and hardly ever get any mexican food because byron doesn't like it. I also get the same thing to when I go LOL the soft taco & beef burrito combo .. UMMMM I am getting to hungry just thinking about it LOL!
I got a nice surprise from Rischa this morning.. She made me this really pretty LO to say Happy Birthday. Isn't it nice! She used my Spring has Sprung Kit and my glitter border.
I bought my birthday present early this year and picked it out myself.. I got some PS brushes and then some books. Then Rischa got me this James Browne Print that I have been wanting FOREVER.. Boy do I feel tired from creating all day LOL.. making things in to brushes is hard work eh?!? :P

Here is something else I made and I will be working on DATE stamps to match it when I don't feel so tired LOL. I have a feeling those will take forever LOLOL! :P
All the brushes are in BLACK and it includes 4 bushes with the seasons that are CLEAN and 4 that are distressed. Then the years 2000 to 2010 in clean & distressed also. again the arb was made in CS2. Just can't wait till 2Bscrapped opens!!!!! :D
I think i will relax and watch some tv for a while :D

I just wanted to share a LO I made with the kit I finished to day. I made it for the sketch challenge at www.2bscrapped.com .

Just a need to get something off my chest too.. have you ever written someone an email or letter in snail mail and they never write back? I recently wrote someone an email and they never wrote me back. I just don't understand ya know. It really can hurt someone's feeling when that happens. I also wrote my sister about 8 months ago this long 6 page letter in the mail and told her to send me some photos of her kids, herself and DH so that I can make her a scrapbook album. She NEVER wrote me back :( I waited for months for a letter back and just gave up. She does not have a computer and I don't really care for talking on the phone and when I have tried calling her she is never home. *sigh* I just dont get it. Am I that horrible to talk to or befriend? I also was talking to someone on messenger and one mention on Biploar and they stopped talking to me :( I don't know I guess I am having a pitty party for myself right now. I guess that is why I care for Rischa so much. She is the only real Best friend I have ever had and we understand each other. Its just that I wonder why I cant talk and make friends like most people can.
Anyhow.... LOL!

I forgot to post here the other day about the Font challenge I do on 2Bscrapped. I will be doing it every month and will be giving out a prize to everyone that participates. Sound like fun?

Off topic from scrapping.. I took my camera in to get the sensor cleaned .. Well I got it back on Thursday and my poor camera had some kind of stop right in the middle of the pictures :( I was so bummmed. So we took it back to Van Cam and they said they would take a look again .. That spot was not there when I took it in so they put it there. I hate leaving my stuff in other peoples hands.. It seems like something always happens to it. :( It was funny when we were there because I printed out a photo to show them were the big spot was and it was a photo of Gillian. Well the guy said, OH I used to have on of those! So Byron & I started talking to him about parrots and he kept says how lucky he was that Little Mountian took his two birds when he gave them up.. I was wonder what it was.. then he said something else about it and Byron and I clued in at the same time and Byron asked OHH is are you talking about at QE park? He said yes and we both said at the same time .. OHHHHH was Rosie your Grey???? LOL Byron Loves Rosies and always spends soo much time with her when we go there LOL. How funny that Rosie used to be his :P Such a small world eh!!??!! Then he asked us towards the end of our conversation something like , So What do you do with your birds after years? Byron and I both said They are like children and we both went in to explaining how they are.. He didn't say much.. but then said.. I just don't know what they are worth after so many year ... :( I guess he did not look at his parrots as children just as a pet that got old :( That is too bad. Back on to my camera, I hope to get it back tuesday WITH NO SPOTS!! LOL! I have really been missing it! I used the sony camera to take a photo and it just was not the same. i shoot in RAW all the time and the sony does not shoot in RAW so that is something to also miss when I shoot with it :P
Anyhow..... I think I have type enought today :P

Here are a few LO with the Kit Sorbet Please. The first one is from my Best friend Rischa H. She is what makes up my CT right now :D Doesn't she make great LOs!!!???!!! :D
Then this send LO is by Me of Gillian. She is eating her favorte thing .. APPLE! :P The morning would not be complete to her with out her apple LOL. I used AC Inked Action for my LO. Thanks for looking!

New kit..Pretty in Pink

I know I know another pink kit.. What can I say.. I LOVE PINK! And I have two girls :P Well feathered girls LOL!
I will try hard to do more boy kits but I think the majority of my kits will be girls :)

I'm getting pretty exciting! Only one more month now till http://www.2bscrapped.com store opens.
The forum is now open to the public though and from what I understand there is a contest going on. The ad was in Simple Scrapbooks Digital Scrapooking 5 that goes to stores on May 8th. :D

I'm enjoying the quite right now(no birds screaming :P), and listening to www.z95.com, our local station here in Vancouver. I really like the music they play. I like that they tell you the son on the net what they are playing because I am horrible at knowing who the artist is :P .. Speaking of music.. You know that song that is playing on my blog? Well I bought almost the whole album on iTunes for like $12.. not to bad. I Think the whole album up here on amazon.ca is $19 which means it would be like $25 or more in stores locally LOL! I really love the album too.. I listen to it all the time!

Good morning! Here is a preview of a kit I finished a few days ago. I named it "Catch me if you can". It is my first real boyish kit. What do you think?

here is a LO I did with it of Gillian. The photo was taken some time ago . She is eating some Cinnamon Bun from the mall :P I know bad momma LOL!!!!! Gillian does enjoy little treats just like we all do :P She dosen't get these kind of treats often but when she does, SHE LOVES THEM!!!

Here is also a preview of a paper pack I made when i first started designing. It is just some basic cardstock in 3 different shades. I thought it would come in handy :D

I'm getting sooooo excited! 2BScrapped opens soon! :D And I can't wait! LOL! :P

Here is also one more kit that I finished a few days ago. It is called 'Enjoy Life' I thought it turned out cute and I really like the colors. I love pink & green together :D The alpha reminds me of a cupcake LOL.

I hope my amazon order get here today. I ordered 3 chip art cd/books and am pretty excited to get them :P I can't wait to put them to use!! I was pretty stupid though.. I ordered from amazon.com instead of amazon.ca.. which is funny.. I ALWAY order from the CA site :P I just thought they would not have these there and did not even check because I was so excited LOL Oh well.. they shipped from the Canada branch so it should not take longer then 5 days I think.

Both the fids are doing great, but I think both have control issues.. Both think they are boss :P LOL never can win with them :P

OH Yeah almost forgot , Here is one more LO I mad yesterday with Jeanelle Paiges Baby Face kit. It is my little baby face Bella :P
